Casa Limoni

The quiet neighborhood has a relaxed, authentic feel, and the owners were kind and ready with suggestions for places to visit and eat. We stayed in this lovely holiday home in Stazzo and everything was impeccable. It was very clean, carefully maintained, and had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to air conditioning and a washing machine. The house is just steps from the sea, with easy access to the area's typical volcanic beach, a lovely choice if you enjoy the Sicilian coast’s natural character. It also worked well as a base for eastern Sicily: Catania, Acireale, Taormina, the Alcantara Gorges, and Mount Etna were all easy to reach. We visited Etna on a day trip.

We loved spending mornings having breakfast on the terrace, then unwinding there after a day out. The host recommended a spectacular boat trip with sunset aperitif and dolphin watching, which was absolutely unforgettable. The house in Stazzo was comfortable and welcoming, with a distinctly Sicilian atmosphere and touches that brought the sea and local traditions to mind. It’s just a few meters from the sea and close to a diving center, handy if you enjoy diving or simply want to be by the water. The host was very kind and shared lots of useful tips. We’d love to return.

The owner was kind and easy to reach, and helped us feel comfortable from the start. We spent two nights at Casa Limoni, right in the heart of Stazzo, a short walk from the square overlooking the village church. The apartment had everything we needed, and you can even buy souvenirs there. The furnishings inside and on the outdoor terrace are beautiful and well cared for, with details that bring Sicily and its traditions to mind. We definitely recommend it and would return.

My elderly parents had a wonderful two-night stay here. The house was spotless, tastefully furnished, and had every comfort, with on-site parking. The owner was kind and helpful, and the place gives you a real sense of Sicily. Highly recommended.
