GH Hotel Piaz

One of the hotels open in November. The room was okay, but a bit old and worn, with some dusty areas and things falling apart, especially the shower faucet. Breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly, at least. The large free parking area was a plus.

I've stayed at Hotel Piaz several times and it's been perfect every time. It's listed as a 2-star hotel, but the standard feels at least 3-star, and you get a lot for what you pay. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and super comfortable. The staff are professional and kind, and always do what they can to sort out problems. The restaurant is VERY good, and breakfast is marvelous, varied, and plentiful. I definitely recommend it.

I was able to book here last minute after a problem at another hotel. It turned into a great experience. The rooms are big and clean, though simple.

The hotel has a restaurant, and there are others nearby. But the room was very small, with the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen, seemingly built under a staircase. The slanted ceiling made us hit our heads many times. I booked based on a room photo showing a balcony, but ours had none. They said only a few rooms have balconies, they were already occupied, and nothing could be done. There was no AC either. I was told it gets cold at night, and it did cool down, but nowhere near enough for sleeping in the summer. Luckily, we didn't have to stay in the room during the day when it was 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I'll never stay here again.
