Parking the car nearby was a challenge for the rest of our stay. We sometimes had to leave it 15/20 minutes away on the street, after the property's parking area damaged it for 600 euros. Its entrance has a height difference that small cars can't get over. We lost a day waiting in our room for a mechanic, whom we called and paid for ourselves because the owner wasn't there. There's no reception, so we had to phone the owner whenever an issue came up. The room itself was clean, well furnished, and near Acireale's historic center. Since there was no insurance coverage for damage to people or property, the owner and I agreed that we wouldn't pay for the stay, though that still won't cover the full repair bill. The place has good potential, but it needs more care and attention.
