Raciti Palace

We really enjoyed our short stay at Raciti Palace, and the price felt very fair. The rooftop terrace has an elegant, classic look and lovely views across Acireale; when the weather allows, you can stretch out on a sunbed and relax. Our room was clean and looked after, with new-looking furnishings that mixed different styles but still suited the palace. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee machine, plus complimentary tea and coffee. Jojo, our kind and attentive host, showed us around the carefully restored wing and its fascinating vintage collection, and shared interesting history about the palace and Acireale. We were also grateful to get into our room well before check-in. Before the trip, we found all the useful accommodation and city information on the property's webpage. Parking was at a nearby paid lot close to Piazza Cappuccini, about 350m away. It’s right in the city center, and staying there gave us a distinctive taste of history along with a comfortable, convenient place to sleep.

We stayed in the Ulisse apartment, which was roomy and cozy, and had everything we needed. It was well furnished and would suit a couple or a larger family. From the terrace, the view takes in the sea, the volcano, and central Acireale. Raciti palace is a beautiful place, and the hosts are lovely. I’d definitely recommend it.

From the apartments you can enjoy beautiful views toward both the sea and the volcano, since the lovely building and town sit between them. We spent a great week here and found the owners thoughtful and very helpful, making sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommended. And good luck with the Christmas Museum project!

The owner was lovely and ready to help. Our rooms were clean, roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. We'd be glad to come back.
