Sciddicu Room

The place is very old and not well managed. The woman at reception did try to meet all our needs, and the prices were low. Updating the rooms a bit would benefit the owners.

A bed and breakfast ought to provide both, as the name says. Here there was a bed, but no breakfast. Instead, there was a "nice" vending machine selling snacks and drinks for a fee. Given the rest of the place, maybe that was for the best. The beds were another problem. The foam mattresses were badly worn, full of holes, and very uncomfortable. The pillows and sheets are best not discussed. Rooms were put together haphazardly with salvaged furniture, and the bathroom had no hairdryer, so we had to ask the owners for one. The only bright spots in an otherwise bleak stay were that the rooms were clean, which stood out in this context even if the cleanliness wasn't exceptional, and there was a parking space, shared with what looked like the skeletons of cars.

A truly awful place, full of rats and spiders, with really bad service.

The mold and smell were scandalous, among other problems. I'd advise the woman to deal with it immediately.
