Villa Feluchia is a home cared for with real pride by Daniela, rather than a hotel. It’s modest and not fancy, but it’s clean, tidy, safe, and welcoming. You’ll need a car to get there, and parking on site is easy. Chloe, Daniela’s friendly dog, also adds to the warm feeling, coming and going to greet you. Breakfast was one of our favorite parts. Daniela made delicious homemade granita with brioche each morning, with other options too. After a day out, the very clean pool was a lovely place to unwind. We also got to see Etna glowing red one evening, with lava and smoke visible. It was unforgettable. Catania and Taormina are convenient places to go for dinner. My husband and I stayed for two nights during our 10-day trip around Sicily, hoping to see Etna and take a wine tour on the island’s east side. We wish we’d booked three nights and done a farm tour in Bronte. Villa Feluchia is one of those places that makes you want to return. It’s a simple, authentic, special stay if you’re looking for a genuine Sicilian experience near Etna.

We only spent one short night here, since we’d picked a place closer to the airport in Cantania. The owner was very nice and helpful, and our room was spacious and, most importantly, very clean.

Daniela and Santo made us feel incredibly welcome, and breakfast was both delicious and plentiful. The place is a peaceful oasis a short distance from Catania, kept impeccably clean and in good condition. If you’re traveling by motorcycle, you can feel at ease leaving your bike safely overnight. The days are then yours to explore Sicily’s beautiful sights. We highly recommend staying here and hope to see you again soon!

This is a cozy, very clean bed and breakfast in a handy spot for exploring Sicily’s east coast. Daniela is a wonderful host who’s happy to help with requests and suggest places to go and things to do. You can park safely in the garden behind the fence and enjoy your holiday. Although it isn’t on the beach, it’s an exceptional place to stay near Catania while visiting the sights. If you plan to explore the area, this is a good place to base yourself.

I loved our breakfast chats with Daniella, and the granita and brioche were delicious. She was born to run a B&B. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the lovely location at the foot of Mount Etna sits between Taormina and Catania, making it a good base for exploring. It may be a bit hard to reach, but plenty of worthwhile places in Italy are. Highly recommend!
