Such a gem in Umbria, with the loveliest family running the place!

A nice place.

We spent eight days here, three couples with six children aged 3 to 20, and the place worked well for all of us. There was so much room, and we could either do things together or let each family, or the older girls, have their own time. The pool was well kept and easy for little kids to get into, with stairs instead of ladders. Outside there were barbecue spots, a gazebo, ping pong, umbrellas and loungers, plus outdoor seating for relaxing or spending time together. Inside, the huge shared kitchen and dining area was a highlight, along with three other big rooms for games and movies. The three bedrooms are actually separate apartments, each with basic amenities. Everything was functional. A few issues made things a little more complicated, so I’ve given four stars, but the owners sorted them out. The place is easy to reach and makes a good base for seeing much of the region. The owners were professional, and I’m confident those small problems have been fixed. I’d recommend the stay and what it offers.

The house was beautiful, spacious, and carefully maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday exploring Umbria’s nature and culture. The owners welcomed us with so much kindness and warmth. Our three families stayed comfortably in the three separate upstairs apartments, while the kids had a great time too. Downstairs, the three living rooms and lovely kitchen gave all 12 of us plenty of space to have lunch and dinner together. We spent time around the large pool, which the owner cleaned regularly. It’s surrounded by a small wood and garden, with lots of room to sunbathe or eat under the canopy. One evening we even made pizza in the wonderful outdoor wood-fired oven. The owners were always around with helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat. A lovely stay, and we’ll definitely come back.
