Check-in went smoothly, but breakfast was stressful. One woman was rude and made me feel unwelcome. Sofia was lovely the next morning and helped turn the day around, but on our last morning the rude woman was there again, so we skipped breakfast on the third floor to avoid spoiling the rest of our trip. The staff weren’t the only problem, the food was tasteless and there wasn’t much choice.
The hotel’s facilities and cleanliness were good, but I had a disappointing experience in the canteen in February 2026. Sophia was welcoming and professional. Her colleague, who speaks English, came across as rude and unprofessional, and didn’t treat my questions respectfully. Courteous service matters when you’re a guest.
The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and breakfast was good, especially the tasty coffee. The staff were wonderful: friendly, made us feel at home, let us check in early, and showed us around with helpful tips for getting around Rome. We had a really good stay at Gemini. Great location, definitely recommend it if you’re in Rome.
Really nice room for a very reasonable price, and all the staff were lovely. The tourist areas are about a 1.5-hour walk away, or you can walk 10 minutes to the station and take a train to St. Peters station for 1Euro.
The rooms are tiny, and the service was horrible. I tried for weeks to reach them by phone and message.
