Il Borgo

The location worked perfectly for visiting the coast. The town is quiet and relaxing, away from the busy coastal cities, and the bus stop right by the building gets you to Amalfi in about 45 minutes. Our favorite pizzeria was right next door, with the best pizza we had in Italy at very affordable prices. We stayed three nights at Il Borgo with two friends, and it went well beyond what we expected. The photos don’t do it justice. The place was spotless when we arrived, and the host had left plenty of snacks and drinks, including two bottles of wine, espresso, and cappuccino. There’s a big room with a queen bed and a large sofa bed that sleeps two, plus a clean, renovated bathroom, a big kitchen, and a nice balcony with sea and mountain views. It’s spacious and equipped with everything you might need, especially in the kitchen, so it would work well for stays longer than a week. Ferdinando was professional and friendly, helped us with our luggage, answered questions quickly, and gave us useful transport advice and recommendations for places to visit and eat around the area, Amalfi, and Positano. This was our first trip to Italy, and we only wished we’d booked a few extra nights. We’d definitely return!

A bus stop right in front of the apartment made getting around easy. There are a couple of pizzerias nearby, though no restaurant. We loved walking through the beautiful sights and peaceful surroundings, away from the crowds. The balcony looked out over the mountains and Agerola valley. We stayed four nights, and the apartment was very clean and spacious, with a sleeping/living room and a separate living kitchen that had everything we needed. The owner's warm welcome and care were the best part. The kitchen was stocked with fruit, tomatoes, cake, and snacks, while the fridge had prosecco, ham, cheese, and salami. Ferdinando also helped us find our way around and arrange excursions. If I could give more stars, I would. Thanks for such a wonderful stay, Ferdinando!

Breakfast and fresh towels every day were provided, and the apartment was lovely. The owners were really great, too. Excellent value for money, and I’d recommend it to anyone traveling to Amalfi ❤️

We had everything we needed, plus lots of snacks. The owner was nice, the view was beautiful, and the apartment was cozy and spacious. Stayed four days.
