A good place to stay near Amalfi without paying Amalfi Coast prices. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and breakfast was great. The host was charming and helpful, and spoke good English. We visited in Oct 2023.

It’s a quiet, clean place, with comfortable, clean beds. Still, I thought it was rated a bit too highly here and on Booking.com. The room didn’t look quite like the online photos, and breakfast was fairly basic. Getting in was a little awkward: we waited almost half an hour for someone to let us in. The drive from Amalfi is on a very narrow, winding road, so you’ll need to be comfortable driving those kinds of roads. It takes about 30-35 minutes to reach the top of the mountain.

The rooms are modern, the bathrooms are new, and the host was great. One heads-up about public transport: check whether it’s a holiday in Italy, like Easter, because services may not run. The only taxi drivers willing to help us wanted double the price. Andrea was very helpful, though, and arranged transport for us from Castellamare di Stabia.

The Tesla charger worked perfectly. We had a clean, quiet room with a balcony overlooking a pretty little valley. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and prepared there. Great place and host.

Such a welcoming place, with a lovely host and a really good breakfast. It’s around 30 minutes by car from the Amalfi Coast, and they can arrange a bus there. Taking the bus may be easier, since parking along the coast can be limited.
