Agriturismo Nuraghe Tuttusoni

I've been coming back to Agriturismo Nuraghe Tuttusoni for years, and each visit gives me another reason to love it. It sits in the rugged north coast of Gallura, with sea and nature all around, and a beautiful little-known beach and Portobello just a five-minute drive away. To me, it's the most beautiful and gracious place in a wonderful part of Sardinia. The hosts are gracious, and the restaurant is uniquely gorgeous. The rooms are beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. There are exquisite gourmet dinners, lunches and wine, with the wine made in-house by their fine sommelier and chef. There's also a glistening pool just a few steps from my room, and fast Wi-Fi there if I want to connect with movies, friends or even work. I come for the nature, sea, food, hospitality and comfort. Graceful elegance surrounded by beautiful sea and nature, that's the best way I can describe Tuttusoni.

We loved the dessert most. The view was lovely and the atmosphere calm, and we had fresh fish and beef plus a great antipasto that paired well with the recommended wine.

The restaurant here serves fresh, tasty local food, and we enjoyed the wine selection too. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a big bed, desk and fridge. It's a nice place in the middle of nowhere, with a sea view and a garden. The host wasn't so easy to talk with in English. Wi-Fi also didn't work well, and wasn't available in the rooms, only in the breakfast area.

Very quiet for sleeping, with clean rooms that are spacious enough and a larger-than-usual fridge. The bathroom was good and had plenty of water. The attached restaurant serves good food, but you need to reserve. If it isn't too windy, you can eat outside. The lighting needs an upgrade. A single bulb on the wall is just sad. I also found it a bit expensive for what the place offers.
