We slept so well: the room stayed very dark at night even with the curtains open, and it was quiet too. Daniela and Elvis were attentive hosts, and breakfast was generous, with bacon and eggs, cold cuts, cheese, and something sweet to finish. Marvellous!

The pool was a welcome break from the midday heat, and every room has a balcony where you can have dinner or a glass of wine after the kids are asleep. We were two families with children, and everyone at Casa Violetta made us feel welcome. The place was very clean, well kept, and had great coffee. Breakfast outside was a treat, so don't miss it. The location also worked well for us, close to the lakes, towns, and Malpensa airport. Great for families or couples.

We spent the afternoon with the pool to ourselves and loved the magnificent breakfast. For four people, breakfast alone would easily be worth 50EUR. The hosts were wonderful, and the place is especially convenient near the airport for a final night of a holiday, with better value than the big standard airport hotel chains. Even a short stay here is a pleasure, and I'd recommend it.

Casa violetta feels like staying with family. The owners make you feel at home as soon as you arrive, and the place itself is beautiful. It's a good choice if you want to explore the Orta and Maggiore lake area while staying in a peaceful, authentic Italian village.
