My room was below ground, damp, and had no cell signal. It also felt haunted.

Vincenzo cheated my family and me. My wife's parents came for our wedding, so we put them up in the house under the Bank of Italy. They got no breakfast and were left without electricity for 24 hours. The owner suggested they go to the bar next door instead, but the bar said he owed them money, so they couldn't get breakfast there either. He told me he'd refund us, but never did. I still have all the messages where he promised the money back. It was a terrible experience and left a terrible impression. A real scammer.

Absolutely disgusting. We booked through Booking.com for August 20, 2018, and it no longer supports this property. We arrived in the afternoon, left our bags, then went to the Valley of the Temples. When we got back around 12:30 a.m., we found flying red cockroaches coming out of the shower drain and all over the room. I contacted the owner straight away, but he said he couldn't help. I was left with two crying children and had to sleep in the car because every B&B and hotel was full at that hour. After we insisted, a nearby four-star hotel managed to find us a room, at twice what we would have paid at the King Arthur. The owner later asked to meet in person to reimburse the price difference. He wouldn't do that, but said he'd refund at least one of our two booked days if I sent my IBAN. More than a month later, I was still waiting. He blamed Booking for managing his room, while Booking.com told us he didn't want to refund us and that full payment was required if we weren't available. The bedside tables were ripped off, and parking was paid. My lawyer advised me not to pursue it, though the financial loss and the distance ruined my vacation, and I won't go into more detail. I think I'll ask the local health authority to check the place. One star is a lot.

He was irresponsible and didn't keep his word. He tried to make up for the missing breakfast by sending them to a nearby bar, but they wouldn't serve them because the B&B owner owed them money. He promised a refund and then disappeared without paying. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
