I went in today and met the owner. If feeling welcome matters to you, I'd go somewhere else.

We stayed two nights, and the place met our needs at a reasonable price. But the Saturday night live music was so loud that it kept my five-year-old awake until midnight, so we took off three stars. I understand bedtime may be different here, and 2200 might be completely normal for some people. For us it was a deal breaker. At 2330 we were considering packing up and leaving.

We only ate at the restaurant and didn't stay at the hotel. The food was good, the service was good, and it was family friendly. The hamburgers were delicious.

The food and service were very good, and it was good value for money. Still, it has a trashy sort of feel, like a place you'd expect to find on a motorway or highway, or at a roadside pit stop.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. When I complained about something, the hotel manager threatened to break my legs.
