We couldn’t stay overnight this time, but I’d definitely come back. Andrea kindly opened the place so we could buy the farm’s honey, which the hotel we’d stayed at the night before had recommended. Seeing all the animals was a nice surprise, and their little dog tappo was adorable.

We stayed in an apartment right on the farm, surrounded by green land and animals. Even the goose was happy to be petted, and the father and daughter running the place were friendly and clearly passionate about sustainable farming. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Malga Riondera is the kind of place you come across by chance and then don’t want to leave. If you’re driving and want quiet, nature, and a bit of peace, this place can really charm you.

It’s so quiet here, with lovely mountain and pasture views, and you can spend time around the animals. The apartments are in a traditional farmhouse, with wooden heating and all the comforts. The food is homemade too, from bread and honey to jam, syrup, and meat. A unique, authentic place in a wonderful setting, so give yourself time to enjoy it.

We had a really excellent dinner at the agriturismo, made with their own produce. Alice also showed my daughter and me the animals at their educational farm, which was a wonderful experience. The apartments are spacious and well kept, and Alice and her parents are kind and helpful. It’s a lovely spot in nature to wake up in, and dogs are welcome. Highly recommended!
