The location made everything easy: the cable car is just steps away, and the town center with its shops, bars, and restaurants is a short walk. There’s on-site parking, plus a shared washing machine, drying facilities, and storage for boots and skis. I stayed at Residence Kalipé both before and after my mountaineering trip with MonteRosa Booking, following their recommendation. I was very glad I did. The self-contained studios have en suite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens, with everything I needed in one place. It would work just as well for summer hiking as winter skiing. The owners were friendly, easy to reach, and quick to help whenever I had a question. They also invite guests to pick fresh vegetables and salad from their garden, a lovely touch that made the place feel like home. I’d happily recommend Residence Kalipé and hope to return.

We liked Room 10 so much that we extended our stay. The views from every room were fabulous, and it was an easy walk to the ski resort gondola. Free parking is available on the property, and we also got discounts at some ristoranti. The place combines old architecture with modern technology, and it made for a very comfortable stay. Everything was extremely clean and quiet, with large rooms and very comfortable beds. The bathroom had a rainfall-style shower and thick towels. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed to cook, and there was a well-stocked Nespresso and tea selection. WiFi was strong and stable. Ten out of ten for us!

I stayed here a year ago, and after a terrible experience at another ski resort, I realized how good this apartment had been. I’d choose it every time I travel. Nothing felt like a hassle, and I felt informed and valued as a customer. It’s very close to a lovely deli and restaurant, and there’s a number to call or text if you need help. The apartment is excellent, with a super comfortable bed and an amazing shower. It’s very clean, and you get a lot for the money. There’s not much clothes storage in the bedroom, since the drawers are actually a spare bed, but the massive wardrobe in the kitchen-diner more than makes up for it. I usually leave my clothes in my suitcase anyway. WiFi was okay, though it worked better on the TV than on my phone.

Claudio was a great host, always helpful and quick to reply to our questions and emails. The apartments were clean, cosy, and well equipped, including a tea and coffee machine. We had a great stay at Residence Kalipe and highly recommend it. We hope to come back.
