Such an amazing place!

Marta was especially kind and helpful. Since nobody was arriving that day, she let us check out in the evening so we could get ready after a day on the slopes. We really appreciated that generous gesture. There’s also a handy ski storage room. We spent three lovely days at Residence Orma. The apartment is welcoming, very warm, and beautifully laid out over two floors, with the living area downstairs and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It was extremely clean and fully equipped, with everything from plates and cups to a drying rack. There’s no private parking, but a €10 pass gives access to the many convenient paid lots just below the residence. We had a very positive stay and will definitely return, perhaps in summer.

The location is lovely, right in the center, and the renovated house is clean, attractive, and equipped with what you need in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed is large and comfortable. Still, the layout and fixtures have some real functional shortcomings, and I wouldn’t stay here again. There’s nowhere to set down a bag, hat, glasses, or keys by the entrance. A small cabinet would solve that. In the bedroom, there’s no outlet near the bed for charging a phone and no bedside table for a book, glass, or tissues. There isn’t a spot for clothes when you get undressed, so they end up on the floor. The 22-inch TV should be larger and mounted lower, since watching it strains your neck. The spiral staircase to the bedroom is also extremely uncomfortable. It’s a good place in some ways, but could be much improved. The architect who planned the renovation really missed the mark.

The owners were courteous and very helpful, and the prices seemed average for the valley. I’ll definitely return and recommend it to others. We found this place and were delighted. The apartment was comfortable, split across two levels with a rather acrobatic internal spiral staircase between them. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom superb, and the simple kitchen had everything we needed. A small balcony looks out over the valley and the Sesia River. We slept wonderfully and woke well rested. The TV is small but works well.
