Hotel Alfieri

On our second year staying here, my wife and I found the hotel welcoming, clean, and very carefully kept. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with what we needed. The staff were kind, helpful, and quick to offer information, and the plentiful, varied breakfast was better than we expected for a three-star place. It’s close to the main sights and has good public transport links. We thought it was very good value, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a pleasant stay with comfort.

We spent two weeks here with our two young children and two grandparents. The staff were very kind and helpful, and we appreciated the paid parking. The meals were good, with drinks included, a range of dishes, and plenty of salads. Our room was spacious and clean, with a proper large bathroom, which isn’t something you can take for granted in Liguria. The value was very good, and we could cancel without charge until quite close to arrival. The one drawback was traffic noise from the Aurelia state road, which could be heard even in the rooms at the back. Unfortunately, that isn’t the hotel’s fault.

The food has a good range, and the rooms are clean. For Alassio, the value is excellent. I’ve been staying at Hotel Alfieri for three years and feel at home, thanks to owners Giorgio and Silvano and the whole team, who are attentive and friendly. It’s only a few minutes from the beach and the start of the "Budello". When you get back from an evening stroll, Andrea is around to help or have a chat before bed. See you soon.
