We needed a car park because parking in Alassio is horrendous, and this hotel had one. We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly the family were and how clean the place was. Our room was large, with a big terrace overlooking both the sea and valley. There's a lift up to the hotel on the top floors, and breakfast was good. The bathrooms were roomy and well ventilated, with enough proper towels for the three of us and extra pillows when we asked. There's no air conditioning, but a table fan we brought was perfectly adequate. The hotel is rated only 2 stars, but don't let that put you off. We thought the actual rating was 2, yet gave it 4 stars instead of 3. The car park is convenient, though it is quite a distance from the room? We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the food, but the menu looked appetising. Hopefully there'll be space for us on our next trip to Alassio. Thanks for a great weekend. The cuisine was excellent, tasty but light, and we had a wonderful time on a full-board stay. The staff deserve top marks for being helpful and very friendly, especially the owner, Mr. Dino. Our rooms were spacious, freshly renovated, and very clean. A convenient elevator, as well as stairs, takes you up to the lobby. There was room for two adults, a child, a medium-sized dog, and suitcases. This family-run hotel deserves more than two stars in my opinion. It's perched on a lovely hill with a wonderful view, about five minutes from the station and the center of Alassio. The climb up is a bit much, but the higher position keeps the nights cool, even on the hottest evenings, so air conditioning wasn't necessary. We noticed at least a five-degree difference from the center. We'd love to come back.

For a one-night stay, the rooms were clean and the amenities were fine for a two-star hotel. Breakfast was good, with a decent choice of three different cakes. I didn't have lunch or dinner there, so I can't comment on those meals. The value for money was decent.

Breakfast was excellent, with lots of sweet and savory choices. The room was spotless, the mattress very comfortable, and the sea view stunning. The soap and shower gel in the room were mediocre, but the housekeeper was very kind and topped them up when needed. There is no air conditioning. You can walk to the sea and town center, but it's a little over 1 km, not 400-500 meters. This hotel isn't accessible for people with disabilities: there's a long staircase to get in, or a small elevator for people on crutches or using a wheelchair. The entrance is also quite steep for anyone with mobility issues.
