Il Porto di Benny

We left Porto di Benny feeling very satisfied, and Giovanna made the stay feel more like time with friends than being guests. She was thoughtful and attentive, even bringing extra croissants after seeing how eagerly we'd eaten them. Our sleep was excellent in the comfortable, well-kept rooms, each with its own bathroom, and the little terrace with lounge chairs was a nice place to unwind. Breakfast was plentiful and high quality, especially on the veranda when the weather allowed. The B&B is tucked away in a quiet spot. We stayed over the long weekend of November 1, 2024. For hikers, it can work as a base for the seaside around Alassio or for the two stages of the Alta Via della Baia del Sole. From the "Colletta" above Moglio, you can leave the route and reach the property with little elevation gain.

Giovanna and Paolo were such kind hosts and made us feel really looked after. Each morning Giovanna put out a generous breakfast: freshly baked tart, jams, yogurt, fruit juice, warm focaccia as always, and toast too. Our modern, spacious room was spotless and had air conditioning, a TV, and a fridge stocked with cold water. We had a wonderful two-night stay at Porto di Benny. Thanks again for the hospitality.

Getting into Alassio without traffic is possible by bus from Moglio to the center. We spent three nights at this peaceful B&B in the hills above town, a relaxing spot that would suit couples too. The newly renovated room and bathroom looked beautiful, and we loved the terrace and its sea view. The hostess was so kind, and treated us to homemade cakes and jams. We had a great time and hope to come back...😊

The breakfasts were spectacular, with Giovanna serving homemade cakes and jams alongside all kinds of nicely presented options. The family-run B&B sits above the sea among greenery, and the small garden is well kept. In season, you may find raspberries, blackberries, or lemons there. We stayed in summer and loved how new, modern, and clean the room was, with lovely furnishings and thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy. It had air conditioning, a TV, a large shower, and a French window looking onto the garden where the owners live. Highly recommended!
