Alkamuri Posh Hotel Spa 105 Suite Superior

The reception lady was incredibly kind and helped us with everything we needed, and breakfast had tasty options that changed each day. We stayed three nights and loved it. Everything was super clean and smelled lovely, and the jacuzzi was fantastic. It was a quiet area, just right for relaxing. We had such a good time! 💛

Stella has magic hands, and we loved the hot tub. The rooms were clean and comfortable too. What surprised us most was the bed: the mattress and pillows were the most comfortable we've had anywhere in Sicily, maybe even in all of Italy.

The breakfast was fine, though nothing special and not really the “superb” breakfast the booking site described. The superior suite has a queen-size bed and a sofa bed for two or more guests, but the sofa bed mattress was only about 10 cm thick, so I didn't sleep well. We'd booked because of the hot tub and jacuzzi. Before arriving, we asked on the booking website if the jacuzzi could be set to 38 degrees, and got confirmation that the request was accepted at no extra charge. At reception, though, we were told a different message had been sent: that the jacuzzi was at 10 degrees and wasn't heated in winter. There was another jacuzzi in the spa, but using it meant booking a spa session for an extra €40 per person for 40 minutes. The manager also said the website hadn't claimed the jacuzzi was heated, which seemed odd to me since it literally said “hot tub / jacuzzi.” We argued a bit and asked if we could have a free session in the other jacuzzi instead. The manager only offered a 20% spa discount. We ended up booking a massage instead. I chose “deep,” the strongest intensity on the intake form, but it was by far the softest massage I've had. That was disappointing too. Definitely not somewhere I'd recommend.

The spa is new and has all the amenities. A great facility, and the staff are nice.
