Breakfast was plentiful, with sweet and savory choices and drinks. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I had a wonderful two days at this beautiful B&B. The private balcony had spectacular views, and enjoying aperitivi there was great. Highly recommend it, and I’ll be back.
The rooftop deck had an amazing view, and the buffet breakfast really satisfied us, with lots of fresh fruit, freshly baked cakes, yogurt, cereals, bread and cheeses. I saw that some older reviews criticized breakfast, but the owner must have raised her game because we were very happy with it. We spent four nights at Controvento in Aug 2025. It’s in a good, quiet spot, just a five-minute walk from the bustling city center. Our room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and the AC and shower were great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Five stars, and we’d definitely stay again!
The balcony had beautiful sea views, and the room itself was stunning. The shower was amazing, the bed really comfortable, and the air conditioning was good quality. It’s a five-minute walk to town and just two minutes to a lovely viewpoint, a good spot for watching the sunset. The owner communicated excellently, replying quickly and making all the useful information easy to find. I only took off a star because breakfast was very basic and the coffee machine could be better. Beautiful B&B, and I’d definitely stay again.
Valentina made our stay especially easy. She was organized, attentive, quick to communicate, and gave us plenty of ideas for places to eat and things to do. Breakfast was spectacular, with something different prepared each day. The room was roomy, the bed really comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely shower. The place looked even better than the photos and is very close to the center. We’d happily stay again.
Valentina was friendly, professional, and quick to get back to us. We checked in online, then she sent self check-in details over WhatsApp 24 hours ahead. The location worked well for driving around the island, and the center is an easy walk away. There’s some street parking, plus Valentina pointed us to a private lot nearby for €5 a day. The rooftop upstairs has tall tables and chairs and a great port view. Downstairs, the rooms line a corridor, with a separate kitchen area just for breakfast. Our room matched the photos and, though it faced the back, it was bright, quiet, and spacious. A sea-view room costs extra. The bathroom was modern and roomy, with a comfortable shower. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including delicious homemade cakes, both sweet and savory. The whole place is new, very clean, well organized, and the service was excellent.
