Residence 5 Lune

Nice place.

There's loads of room for eight, and the apartment is well kept and equipped. The terrace looks across the gulf all the way from Palermo to San Vito. Getting to the private parking is the awkward bit, since the road up is very narrow and steep.

The covered terrace is about 60 square feet and has a fantastic view, so having meals out there is a real pleasure. Inside, there's tasteful furniture, a big kitchen, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms with large, comfortable showers. There's also a covered barbecue outdoors. The value for money is unbeatable. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Filippo was a wonderful host and kept checking that we had what we needed for a pleasant stay. We spent the last week of October 2017 at Residence 5 Lune, four adults and two children aged 3 and 7, and had a fantastic week. The weather was still good, and the Shakespeare apartment gave us plenty of room, with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Air conditioning was in every room, though we didn't need it. We used the north-facing terrace, with its open sea view, for meals and spending time together. In summer, I imagine that aspect would be especially welcome. The outdoor shower and kitchen on the south side were covered and separate from the other apartments, but it was too chilly for us to use them. A stairway goes straight down to the coastal road and then to the sandy beach. There's a bar within walking distance, and groceries are a seven-minute drive away. Thank you.
