Hotel Alli Due Buoi Rossi

The beds were comfortable, the linen was great, and everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The food was amazing at both dinner and breakfast, and the waiters were excellent.

Breakfast had a good mix of sweet and savory choices, including cakes and eggs. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet at night. Heating was easy to control through the AC system, which I mention because I'd seen some complaints about it. It's a very neat hotel right in the city center.

The lack of heating made this a thoroughly uncomfortable stay. The room stayed around 15 degrees Celsius, so I had to sleep in my clothes to keep warm. The hot shower was the only relief. I booked for three weeks and paid 120€ per night, yet got zero comfort. I would never recommend staying here. There were some good points: the reception staff were friendly and good, the rooms were kept impeccably clean, and breakfast was satisfactory. The hot food selection was limited, mostly eggs, and could use more variety. The garage was another hassle. It's separate from the hotel, and you have to pick up the keys at reception and manually unlock the doors, which is especially cumbersome in bad weather. The hotel does well with service and cleanliness, but basic comfort and convenience fell short. Management should address these issues so guests can have a comfortable stay.

The hotel and parking are outside the ZTL zones, and there's an amazing truffle restaurant within walking distance. Check-in took a bit longer than I'm used to, which was the only part that bugged me.
