I don't often leave reviews, but this dinner deserves a mention. The standout for me was the black olive and sea salt semifreddo, an unexpected combination that was bold and unforgettable. Before that, we had a beautifully roasted free-range chicken thigh with a dark chocolate and red berry sauce. It worked surprisingly well, with depth from the chocolate, a little brightness from the berries, and wonderfully cooked chicken. The meal opened with a smooth, rich aubergine coeur in a delicate burrata cream, balanced by salty olives. It felt like a journey through Puglia's sun-soaked flavors. Max and Christian gave service that was thoughtful and refined, just like the food. If you want a meal that excites the palate and captures the character of the region, this is the place.

Christian, the owner, is a gem. The restaurant downstairs is spacious and spectacular, with local dishes such as foraged poppy greens with black olives, potato cake, plenty of fish, and meat too. The small BnB has two rooms in an 19th-century olive press. It's clean and has what you need, and at €80 a night in May it's great value. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere at this out-of-the-way restaurant is amazing and really distinctive. The food was delicious, with everything very well balanced and worthy of a strong recommendation. Service was just as good, attentive, kind, and courteous.
