Castiglias

The pool is the only thing this place has going for it. We stayed for three days this summer and, on arrival, no one was there to meet us. It took over half an hour for someone to show up. Our rooms smelled strongly of mold. The place was fully booked, so changing rooms wasn’t an option. After leaving the windows open for a couple of hours, the smell became bearable. The toilet also stank of sewage, and its window had to stay open all the time. If you’re visiting the area, I’d advise finding somewhere else to stay.

We had trouble finding the cozy B&B without Google Maps, but its location was nice. When we realized we’d left our passports behind, the owner helped us out so we didn’t have to return to Portobello that evening. Thanks for that. I can recommend the place.

The B&B and its surroundings are beautiful, but the hosts’ lack of warmth really took away from the stay. Even after many reviews, they still didn’t seem to care about hospitality.

A peaceful, beautiful spot with lovely people. The rooms were excellent, with cooking facilities, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. The pool was great for cooling off.
