The rooms were clean and roomy, and the staff were very friendly. There’s secure parking at night, and the airport is very close. The downside is the noise from planes, plus the room had no outside view, just one small window in the toilet. I wouldn’t choose it for a restful night, though it could work for a quick stop before a flight.

We had a very good dinner at the restaurant, which I would recommend. But hotel guests are told they get a 10% discount, and it wasn’t applied. We can’t comment on breakfast because we left before it opened for our 8:55 am flight. We’d paid for breakfast, but there was no lunchbox to take with us. The room was clean, though the bed was very hard and I could really feel the springs. When we arrived yesterday in mid-afternoon, one receptionist gave us a very poor welcome while another was much more courteous. We needed someone to call a taxi for the next morning, as we don’t speak Italian and already had the contact information. The receptionist with the red glasses refused, but the other one called. The hotel is very close to the airport, though not close enough to walk, and you can hear the planes clearly. Alghero city center is only about ten kilometers from the airport. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, but I would recommend the restaurant.
