The traffic outside can be loud and constant if your room faces the main road. I wish I'd known in advance. The lodge is on that road, as are other hotels in town, and it was fully booked when we stayed, so I couldn't switch rooms. Call ahead and ask for an inward-facing room if street noise might bother you. Aside from that, we had a great stay. The rooms are beautiful and modern, breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were kind and welcoming from arrival to departure. It was a bit pricey, though.

The building is lovely and has been renovated with good taste. We ate here twice last winter and the food was amazing. Tonight was a mixed bag: the starters were great, but the service felt disorganized and the main was poor. The venison listed on the menu had been replaced by a fairly tasteless beef dish, and I sent it back because it was cold in the middle. These things happen. I'll be back in Alleghe in two weeks and will give it another try. Hopefully it's back to last winter's standard.

We spent two hours using the day spa, including the sauna, steam room, emotional showers and other spa facilities. At 15€ per person per hour, it was great value. Everything was clean and new, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms were warm, clean and very nice, and getting in was easy. We stayed two nights at the end of May 2025. Breakfast was good, including the coffee, and the spa was great after a hike. In winter, the location is close to the ski area. Parking in front was nearly empty and free at that time of year, though it may be full and paid during the season.

The breakfast kicks ass, and the restaurant was great too, with tasty food sourced locally. After a world class day of hiking, the spa was a perfect way to unwind, and I had a great massage. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The place has had a fresh, total, high quality remodel with beautiful woodwork throughout. I was told it changed ownership, was remodeled, and reopened over winter 2024/5. Loved it. Highly recommended!
