B&B Il Giardino di Paola

Paola’s breakfast is excellent, and we liked the B&B enough to extend our booking from four nights to five. She welcomes you into a charming, historic house and is a wonderful host. The place is very clean, with spacious, comfortable rooms. It’s well placed for visiting beautiful beaches, and there are plenty of taverns nearby. Five-star service, highly recommended.

Paola made us feel completely at home in her own house, which not everyone manages to do. She was incredibly kind and courteous. We stayed for a lovely week in a good location for driving to Salento’s most beautiful beaches. The rooms were spacious and had every comfort, and breakfast was generous and varied each day, with sweet and savory cakes and pies Paola prepared herself. Highly recommended!

Paola takes wonderful care of her guests, with kindness and attention to the smallest details. Her home-cooked meals are excellent, full of delicious local dishes, especially the fresh fish she chooses each day. The villa is surrounded by lovely greenery that feels soothing in the summer heat, and the interiors stay cool, though rooms also have air conditioning. Peace and quiet are a big part of the stay. The rooms are huge, with elegant antique-style furnishings and very comfortable beds. The finishes, space, and decor feel worthy of a true four-star hotel. Gallipoli and Punta Suina beaches are 12 km away, about a 10-minute drive. You can also get there by bicycle along quiet city and provincial roads, roughly a 30-minute ride. A great place for comfort and hospitality.

Paola was so warm and friendly when welcoming us into her beautiful old house. The garden is lovely, and the three bedrooms are very spacious, with air conditioning, mini-fridges, and brand-new bathrooms. Housekeeping was meticulous, and the linens were changed just right. It’s a great fit if you’re after quiet, peace, and an old-fashioned atmosphere, while still being only 10 minutes from the sea. Paola was generous with advice and little daily kindnesses. Her lovely niece Annamaria helped us a lot, including sorting out a problem with our car. A heartfelt thank you to both of you, and hugs from our whole family!
