Le Tenute di Agnese

This bed and breakfast is in the heart of the small village of Felline, in a 19th-century building. I can only speak about the room we stayed in, not all the rooms. It had a fully equipped private bathroom outside the room and a small terrace for hanging laundry or relaxing. Our room was on the first floor. It was a small, intimate gem with a vaulted ceiling and exposed brickwork, and fossil shells could be spotted in the material if you looked carefully. The breakfast nook was on the ground floor, separated from the vegetable garden by a fence made of Lecce stone capitals. Agnese's class showed in the buffet: cross-stitched tablecloths, fresh water in a jug with mint leaves, Irish and English teas, jams, wild honey, and artisanal pastries that were far better than ordinary croissants. That special touch was Agnese's.

We stayed at the property for two nights. It was ideally located for reaching Salento's most beautiful beaches, in a quiet village away from the bustle. Mrs. Agnese was friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home.

Agnese and her brother are both very friendly and were available to help with anything. The room had every comfort. A wonderful free beach is only a few kilometers away.

A beautiful, welcoming place with clean, air-conditioned rooms. Ms. Agnese was very kind and helpful, and prepared an excellent breakfast for all of us. I recommend it.
