Agriturismo Murà

The family atmosphere at Agriturismo Mura made me feel so at ease that I’m already thinking about coming back. Everything, from the rooms and service to the setting and meals, felt joyful. You can see the owners’ care for quality in the details. Much of the food comes from their garden or local producers, and the effort to find good ingredients made every meal an exciting treat. The riding school has that same thoughtful approach. I’d never even been around a horse before, but felt safe and left fascinated by them, with a new hobby in mind.

Giuseppe was generous with suggestions for places to visit and eat. We loved spending time on the beautiful grounds, and the food was just as great. A lovely place.

This is a good spot to get away from everyday stress and recharge. The owner was kind and attentive, and the young staff came across as professional and motivated. The meal was better than I expected from a farmhouse. My one criticism is that animals could have been kept out of the dining room. The property is very remote, though, so much that I was reminded at one point of the movie "All We Have to Do Is Cry."

My guests loved every part of this little gem in the Cassano countryside, close to the Mercadante forest. Nicola welcomed us and treated us to wonderful dishes made with authentic Murgia ingredients. The Easter lunch was truly delicious.
