Raffaele was easy to contact by phone or WhatsApp and quick to reply. He met me around 8pm, showed me around the apartment, explained all the facilities, and even demonstrated the coffee machine. He'd left plenty of cold frizzante and naturale water in the fridge, along with some snacks. The apartment is in the "new" part of town, and Matera is very hilly, so keep that in mind. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Sassi of Matera and around 10-12 minutes to the train station. The place is huge, with two impressive bathrooms, a big living room, and a huge bedroom with two single beds. There's a balcony, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The whole apartment was really clean and spotless. The WIFI was strong and fast.

The warm welcome and new, well-equipped property made me feel right at home during my two days in Matera at La Rocca Casa Vacanze. It met all my needs, and I can't think of anything better than feeling at home while away. I could say more, but I'll just recommend it to everyone.

We were welcomed so warmly and looked after during our New Year's Eve stay. The house was nice and warm, had every comfort, and even breakfast was excellent. Matera is wonderful too. Congratulations on everything! Greetings from Naples. Highly recommended.

A wonderful place to stay, and Matera is a must-see! The house was comfortable, clean, welcoming, and right in the center. The owner was incredibly kind, and the price was great. I'd recommend La Rocca and will definitely be back.
