Marcella welcomed us so warmly and showed us around Matera and its main sights. The B&B is a little outside the historic center, though still only about a 20-minute walk away. The rooms, breakfast, and service are all excellent. Definitely worth considering!

The owners are friendly, and the rooms are nice and heated. Breakfast is generous, though Italian-style only. It's a five-minute drive to the center, parking is easy, and there's a takeaway pizzeria 100 meters away if you need it.
