Attico 72

The owners are kind and extremely helpful, and the location makes it easy to get around without a car. It’s close to the Sassi and the city center. The place is clean, tidy, and very well organized, with a fully equipped kitchen and everything needed for breakfast. This was our second year in a row staying here for the Epiphany long weekend, and we’ll definitely be back soon.

The terrace gives the whole place an elegant feel, and the apartment was clean, well kept, and had everything I needed. The sofa bed was incredibly comfortable. I spent two lovely nights at Attico 72, and Valentina was welcoming and helpful.

We only stayed one night, on July 31st, but this apartment made it easy to see Matera and its Sassi. We could leave our car, loaded with luggage, in the blue-lined parking lot below without worrying about finding secure parking. The apartment is beautiful and brand new, with nothing left to chance. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, without ever intruding. She left a generous selection of packaged breakfast items, so we could enjoy a delicious breakfast before setting off. For me, everything was perfect. Highly recommended, and thank you!

Attico 72 has everything you need for a wonderful stay, and feels both distinctive and welcoming. There’s a large terrace furnished with a table and chairs. Velentina, the owner, is kind and helpful, and we had a lovely time. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
