I visited in January and found the price fair. The location is unbeatable, the heating and hot water work excellently, and the windows keep out noise and weather very well. The place was spotless, comfortable, and easy to use. It had coffee, shampoo, gel, a small hair dryer, and free WiFi, plus the kitchen basics for a quick breakfast or light meal. I didn't meet the host, but I was told she's very nice. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. Thanks for making us feel at home.

A minimarket and other essentials are just across the street, and the house sits in a handy spot for both the city center and the university. It was warm, clean, and charming. The owner was kind and very helpful. I highly recommend Casa Vacanze Margherita.

We were two couples of friends staying March 7-8, 2025, and the apartment worked really well for us. It's on the second floor with an elevator, recently renovated, and very clean, with two large double bedrooms with balconies, a bathroom, and a kitchen. We could leave at our leisure in the afternoon. The place is right in the center, about two minutes from the Sassi, with lots of shops nearby. Matera felt safe and clean, and there was plenty of walking in the center in the evening. Nicoletti Garage is 100 meters away and costs €20 for 24 hours, very convenient. Highly recommended. If we return, we'll stay here again.

The balcony isn't really set up for sitting outside. Apart from that, it's a spacious apartment with cooking facilities and a great central location, so everything is walkable. There's a market, bakery, and grocery store right outside.

The apartment has every comfort, and the owner is warm and friendly. It's centrally located and close to the train station. Recommended.
