What made the stay especially enjoyable was how much architect Pignatelli and his wife, Loredana, shared about Matera. Their conversation had a warm, family-and-friends feel, and he spoke about the city's history and culture with real curiosity and enthusiasm, while always taking an interest in his guests. The B&B is centrally placed for the main sights and the Sassi, and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous, with a range of fresh local products. We felt very well looked after.

The host welcomed us so warmly, almost like family, and gave us plenty of historical background and other information that helped us make the most of the city. Our room was spacious and clean, and the B&B was in a great spot. We had a wonderful stay in Matera. Thanks for everything ❤️

The owner gave us a warm welcome and took care of everything we needed. Our room was spotless, and breakfast was generous, with a tasty bruschetta made fresh with Matera bread. The location is excellent, about five minutes from the city center, and there is free parking nearby.
