Matera Guest House

Matera Guest House made our mother-daughter trip amazing. Francesco, the owner and manager, was kind and helpful with everything about Matera and parking. He shared his WhatsApp so we could ask questions whenever we wanted. He also had plenty of restaurant suggestions, though there's so much to choose from that you can hardly go wrong. None of the places we tried disappointed. You can look for my reviews of them! The location was perfect. After climbing one flight of wide stairs, we found the shared area, where you could have tea or espresso. Our spacious, very clean room had a TV, air conditioning, and a small kitchen. The refrigerator was stocked with free water and juices, with alcohol available for a charge. I'd highly recommend Matera Guest House. Thank you for such a lovely stay. The room was beautiful, the location superb, and the host nice.

Francesco gave us a big welcome, introduced himself in person, and shared lots of tips for enjoying Matera. The location was excellent. Our new room was very clean, with a sitting area and kitchenette. Breakfast was included, with coffee and packaged items on site as well as breakfast at a partner café. It doesn't get much better. Thanks for the hospitality. We'd be happy to come back!

I'm freezing here in Milan, sleeping on the street or in makeshift shelters. All anyone tells me is to go to a community or get help. Happy Holidays. I hope you're having fun and doing well, even though I've made some unforgivable mistakes. I hope the €1,800 I withdrew with my card from the ATM using my postal account, not from inside because I need ID, can help both of you move forward, or perhaps be useful for something else.
