Mimmo was a really helpful host, and the place itself was quiet and comfortable. Parking can be tricky, but he stood in and saved a space for us before we arrived. Once you’ve parked, you can get around on foot, as everything is within a reasonable walking distance.

The host was lovely and gave us plenty of recommendations for Matera. The room was the best stay of our Italian holiday: huge, modern, new, and clean. It felt like a five-star hotel for the price of an Airbnb.

There’s only one guest room, which explains the name that sounds like “for you.” That means no noise from other guests and loads of space. There’s also a kitchenette next to the room with a Nespresso machine, microwave, and fridge, plus the owner had left us drinks and coffee cups. The location is ideal, right at the entrance to Sassi, near several viewpoints, with free parking spots in front of the door. Definitely lives up to its perfect review score!

Just steps from the Sassi, the location made it easy to explore the city. Mimmo was so friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean in a welcoming property. A fantastic find, and I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable, welcoming stay. Rating 10/10

It’s excellent value, especially if you want a spotless room in Matera’s historic center with parking right at the doorstep. The B&B has one very quiet room, a large bathroom, and a small kitchenette for coffee, herbal tea, or heating up a meal. Breakfast is included in the price through a voucher for a nearby café and pastry shop. The host was helpful while still giving us space. Everything was perfect.
