The host came to our rescue at the last minute after the vacation rental we'd booked turned out to be a dump. She was incredibly helpful and had great recommendations. The house is less than a five-minute walk from central Matera, with a very comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and living room. It has pretty much everything you need. We'd definitely come back, and recommend it to anyone staying in Matera.

From the soft, fragrant bathroom linens to the clean, charming apartment, everything was lovely. It's well equipped, offers excellent value, and sits just a three-minute walk from the Sassi. The owner is very kind. Highly recommended.

Mariella was very kind and happy to share information. The apartment is comfortable and very nice, though being street-facing means it can be a little noisy. Street parking in the white-lined spaces is possible if you get lucky. Breakfast isn't included, but guests are welcomed with a small kit of snacks, tea, coffee and similar things. Matera is fantastic, and the food is amazing. I highly recommend visiting!

It's easy to get around by public transport from this holiday home, which is only a few steps from Matera's historic center and main sights. Mariella was exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The apartment was spotless and newly furnished, with a central base for exploring the whole city. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back.
