Being on the Sasso Barisano made it easy to explore Matera on foot, and we could leave the car parked nearby for our whole stay. The property is beautifully furnished and looks out over the Gravina. The hospitality was exceptional, everything was perfect. We hope to come back soon. Highly recommended!

Parking is scarce around here, so it’s better to leave the car a little farther away. Once you’re settled, Matera is easy to explore from this beautiful apartment, just inside the ZTL. It has extraordinary views of the Gravina on one side and the Sasso Barisano on the other. The owner is kind and helpful, and gives you plenty of information about exploring the city.

The room and bedroom have views that speak for themselves. The place is clean, tastefully furnished, and equipped with every comfort, with a lovely welcome from the hosts. It overlooks the Gravina and is just steps from the Sassi. Highly recommended.

The only thing that could use a couple more touches is breakfast. The apartment itself is cozy, quiet, and tastefully decorated, with exceptional views. You can park nearby and explore the Sassi on foot. It’s a lovely way to enjoy Matera, and I’d definitely stay here again.
