The apartment was fully equipped, the staff were friendly, and the location was great. It’s a five-minute walk from the old town and everyday places like markets and shops. Breakfast is included, but it leans sweet and Italian in style, so don’t expect a continental spread with ham, eggs, or cheese or you may be disappointed. Lots of little touches made the stay comfortable. I’d recommend it and book again.

The owner was kind and punctual, and left plenty of breakfast treats for us. The apartment was practically perfect for our two nights in Matera, spotlessly clean and stocked with all the comforts we needed. The Sassi area is only a few minutes away. Highly recommended.

We spent a weekend in Matera and stayed in this spacious, clean house just steps from the center. It had everything we needed, including a TV in the kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The fridge was stocked with water, milk, yogurt, juice, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, biscuits, and more. There was a coffee machine and a microwave too. I highly recommend it!

Nicola and his family have made this apartment feel genuinely welcoming, right down to the delicious tart they leave for guests. It's thoughtfully set up with everything you might need, even a little first aid kit, and the furnishings are both tasteful and comfortable. You can park just below the place, then walk to the historic center in a few minutes. A lovely base for visiting Matera.
