The building is nicely designed, and the rooms have a stylish feel. Check-in was friendly, breakfast was good quality, and there’s free parking. It’s not far from the historic centre. Breakfast starting at 8 was the one odd thing, since 7 or 7:30 is more typical in Italy. I’ll definitely come back.

Getting to Matera’s city centre took about 10 minutes by car, and we didn’t have to drive into the paid zones. Parking at the hotel was great too. Our room was spacious, quiet, and spotless, and the staff were extremely service-minded and made us feel welcome. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed as two adults and two children in a family room, which was clean and really spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast used high-quality ingredients. There was also lots of parking on the property. Great hotel and really nice staff.

Mariella, the manager, was the standout for us. She helped with a reservation and even taught us a bit of Italian, grazie mille! The staff were so friendly. The hotel is a few minutes’ drive from Matera’s old town, with safe, free parking. Our room was generously sized, everything was new, and the modern bathroom fittings and white linens were lovely. The beds were super comfortable.

Very good hotel with nice rooms. You need a car to reach the old city, about an 11-minute drive.
