Breakfast came with vouchers from the owner for Mariniello bar, just a few meters away. The owner was very kind and always available, and the property was spotless, comfortable, and excellent value. We stayed for the All Saints’ Day long weekend and had a wonderful, relaxing few days. It’s just steps from the historic center but outside the restricted traffic zone, so parking was easy. Altamura was a lovely surprise, full of history in its narrow streets, good food, inviting aromas, and warm hospitality. It’s easy to get to Matera and beautiful Gravina di Puglia from here. I’d recommend the property as a base for exploring Puglia and Basilicata, and hope to return soon.

The owner was friendly and trustworthy, and didn’t ask for advance payment when I booked. This completely renovated B&B has modern, clean rooms and a strategic location, just a few meters from the TL area by the historic center.

The only drawback for us was the extremely small shower in our room. Otherwise, this is a very comfortable B&B just outside Altamura’s historic center, and a great fit for a quick stop or a budget stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are just a few meters from the main street. It’s a pleasant, clean place that’s been recently renovated, and the owner is very kind and friendly. Good for a short stop.
