Ilario made our last-minute booking and parking so easy, and gave us a wonderfully warm welcome. He also served an excellent breakfast. The apartment was exceptionally clean, with thoughtful little extras in the fridge and in the bathroom and kitchen cupboards. It’s close to the old city and in a great location. I’d highly recommend this cute place if you’re staying in Altamura. Grazie, Ilario!

The location is perfect, and the apartment is small but has everything you could need, including lots of extras for snacking. The bathroom is modern, and the marble floor tiles are beautiful. After 25 years of traveling, I’ve never found a B&B with so many of the comforts and conveniences of home. I’d give this place six stars if I could. Don’t go anywhere else.

Ilario and his mother are wonderful people. When we arrived, they treated us to a delicious aperitif with focaccia, nodini, and excellent ham. His dinner suggestions and tips on where to buy delicious focaccia and the famous Altamura bread were invaluable. Ilario made us feel so pampered, and the place was clean and comfortable, just steps from Matera. I’ve never had a B&B experience like this. From now on, I’ll compare everywhere to it, and nowhere else measures up. Exceptional, one of a kind.

Everything we needed was there, the place was spotless, and breakfast was excellent, with fresh, authentic ingredients. The B&B is just a few steps from the historic center, a really convenient location. Ilario, the owner, welcomed us wonderfully and was incredibly helpful. We highly recommend it and thank him from the bottom of our hearts for such a lovely welcome.

They made our last stop on our honeymoon feel really special. When the owner heard about it, he surprised us with a generous breakfast and even picked up the typical Bari focaccia for us, along with tips on where to find other local products. Everyone was so welcoming and ready to help, including helping us find parking. The B&B is right in the center, very clean, hygienic, and comfortable. A perfect stay, highly recommended.
