We had a spacious room with a lovely bathroom, including a bathtub, hairdryer, soaps and heating. The owners of B&B "Vicolo Fiorito" were warm and friendly, and when we realized we needed a stove, they quickly found us a fairly priced vacation rental. We should have asked about the facilities before booking, so I appreciated how kindly they handled it. We were hoping for at least a small stove because we travel as a couple with several days of supplies. There’s a shared kitchen with a sink and microwave, but no stove, and four rooms with private bathrooms. Renting all four could work well for a group with a little planning. Altidona’s historic center is distinctive, and nearby highlights include the Municipal Theater, Parco dei Due Ponti, where you might spot otters, and a 3 km promenade beside a natural beach. Good accommodation adds to the appeal. We’ll definitely return, maybe with other tourists so they can meet these kind people too. Thanks again, and have a great weekend, reader!
