Hotel Waldheim Sexten Sesto

The location is hard to beat for skiing, close to the gondola and the Waldheim ski area for children and beginners. With kids and all their ski gear, that was really convenient. I also loved the relaxing spa, where you book ahead and get guaranteed privacy. The hotel is cozy and pleasant, spotlessly clean, and the food is tasty with enough variety, especially for kids. There are thoughtful details and decorations everywhere, and all the employees are exceptionally polite.

We stopped at Waldheim briefly on the way to Switzerland and would definitely recommend it. It's in a beautiful part of Sexten, with amazing views of the high mountain peaks. The hotel is cozy and very clean, with tidy gardens where you can relax on summer evenings. There's a nice bar and restaurant with friendly staff, prices are reasonable for the service, and there's plenty of parking.

Our family had our best winter ski holiday so far at Waldheim. The hotel is clean and cozy, and the staff are so friendly they make you feel like you're at your grandma's. We were spoiled by the amazing food. Its location is perfect, with beginner and children's slopes on one side and the Helmjet gondola on the other. We may be back next year!

The small wellness area was a real treat. You book in advance, so I had the jacuzzi to myself for an hour. A swimsuit and hat are required in the jacuzzi, while the sauna is clothing-free. It's very clean and smart, with herbal teas available. The hotel is well placed for the Helm lift, and the food was excellent. As a vegetarian, I especially appreciated the imaginative dishes, unusual for the Dolomites. Staff were friendly and professional, particularly the dark-haired waitress and the woman at reception. The price was good late in the season. My only drawback was that the single room, bed, and duvet were small, though the room itself was perfectly good, spotless, and had a balcony. I was there for just two nights, so it was fine.
