I was here for a congress for two nights. It was fine, though nothing special, and the interior felt a little old. The staff are kind, but they weren’t clear about charges. They offered me a bathrobe for the thermal bath without mentioning the 8 euro fee, which I only noticed on the receipt at checkout. That didn’t feel honest.

I stayed here for almost two and a half months over winter, and all the staff were very friendly. Franco is one of the best cooks I’ve come across. I explained how I wanted an Indian dish prepared, and he made it exactly that way. The restaurant is also one of the more economical options price-wise.

The stay was pleasant enough, but for what I paid I expected more. The hotel feels old-fashioned and is a bit worn in places. Breakfast has no hot food, which was disappointing. I also found that the thermal baths and sauna are closed on Sunday, with the sauna shut Sunday morning too. As far as I could tell, the hotel website doesn’t make the bath closures clear.
