We spent a month here while I worked remotely, and the internet connection served me well. Let the owners know in advance so they can arrange the right package. Marzio and Rebecca were always available for questions, shared restaurant contacts, and gave us great suggestions. They really helped make the stay comfortable. We brought our dogs, who loved the house’s large private garden. The area has plenty to explore and eat. There are hiking routes from easy to difficult, some starting close to the house. When we were there, the woods were empty of tourists, with only us and a few locals around. In the nearby village there’s a very good butcher. I’d also recommend the farmers market in Poretta Terme on Saturdays, especially for vegetables, fruit, and the best porchetta we’ve ever tried. We loved our time in rural Italy.
