The First Dolce - Preferred Hotels & Resorts

The First Roma Dolce gave us a dream stay, and we really didn't want to leave. It's the best hotel in Rome we've tried, and perhaps the best in Europe. The location is perfect, the rooms incredibly luxurious, and the atmosphere magical. We were there for my wife's 40th birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a beautiful cake, a personalized card, and a magnificent room upgrade. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Special thanks to Zenia, Hany, Joseph, and the entire front office team. It felt like staying in a private home, with people who truly cared whether we enjoyed every moment. The manager's touch showed in the details, from the warm welcome letter to the thoughtful farewell note. WhatsApp communication was efficient and made requests quick and easy. Everything felt just right, from the luxury Acqua di Parma bathroom amenities and welcome gift to the fresh water left by the bed each night. Even having two dedicated doormen at the entrance all day added to the feeling of luxury and top-tier service. Thank you for such an incredible stay. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great stay and they upgraded our room. Staff were always available if we needed anything. Special thanks to Joseph at the front desk, who explained everything politely and supported us in every way possible. I also want to thank the whole hotel team, especially Joseph, Meryem, Albert, Sophia, Michael, Hanny, and the security person. Highly recommend if you're in Rome.

I was struck by how clean and carefully maintained The First Dolce is, right down to the little details. The Acqua di Parma amenities in the washrooms were a lovely, luxurious touch. The location worked perfectly for me, and service was exceptional from arrival onward. The front desk handled every question and request promptly, and being able to reach them on WhatsApp made things especially easy. Alina, Joseph, Zenia, Catalin, and Wael were warm and professional throughout, and the bellmen were consistently helpful and respectful. It was a comfortable, memorable stay.

We were given a free upgrade from prestige to prestige view, which was a nice surprise, and breakfast was fantastic. The furnishings and overall quality are great, the staff are wonderful, and the location is hard to beat. There are a few minor wear issues in the room. The rainfall shower was visibly crusty and partly blocked, so the water came out unevenly. A piece was missing from the shower knob, which made it confusing to use, and the bathroom door didn't close properly because it was slightly broken. I'd happily book again. These are small complaints, and I hope the feedback helps them get fixed.
