Amalfitano Apartments

We had a sauna and a Bluetooth audio system in our spacious, clean room. The hotel sits right in the heart of the village, close to food, shopping, the ferry, and just about everything else. The owner was there when we arrived to help with parking and our luggage, and the receptionist helped us with our bags when we left. I recommend it.

We arrived by ferry and found the hotel in a great spot near the Amalfi port. We couldn't locate the entrance at first, but after we reached out on WhatsApp, someone came to meet us right away. They'd also been very kind about answering our questions there before the trip. Since we had told them in advance that it was our honeymoon, they prepared champagne as a welcome drink. Our room was charming, roomy, clean, and comfortable. We'd love to stay again next time we're in Amalfi.

The location is awesome, and from our sea view suite it was lovely to sit and relax. We could also walk straight out and cross the street to the square. Everything was bright and very clean, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the amalifitano suites and would definitely return. The one difficulty was getting in and out with a wheelchair, especially down the steep road. Without a chair, it's just fine.

Luigi, the owner, and the staff were so friendly, and since Luigi is local, his recommendations and insights about his beautiful town were invaluable. We really enjoyed our stay at Core Amalfito. I'd highly recommend setting aside a day for Ravello, with its breathtaking views and exquisite food. As for the noise and bus concerns in earlier reviews, closing the windows kept out any potential disturbance for us. Buses and the ferry were conveniently accessible from Core Amalfito, so getting to nearby towns was easy. Gracie Mille!!
